The mobile safari is based on the classic safari undertaken just after the turn of the last century by such
famous people as Teddy Roosevelt and much later by Ernest Hemingway. These made the idea of travelling
through the Savannah of Africa and sleeping under canvas a very romantic and adventurous one. Over time
these mobile-tented safaris have evolved into many different forms from the humble do it yourself budget trip
to the extremely luxurious “Hemingway” type safari. Our trips fall somewhere in between the two and can be
classified as comfortable yet affordable safaris. We are very flexible and will accommodate your every need
but obviously there are some limitations placed on us by the nature of the experience. These include the time
spent away from civilisation, space to carry supplies, temperature and budget. Our safaris are NON-
participating.
"We are committed to providing highly memorable safaris that are safe, fun and educational. Our primary goal is to share the unique beauty of this exquisite wild life continent with those who are looking for the true African experience. Africa is a continent like no other and should be visited at least once in your lifetime. A Safari to Africa will spiritually enlighten you and have you longing to come back time and again."

You will be met at Maun airport and transferred to your lodge accommodation for your first night.
This morning we drive to Maun Airport to connect to a light aircraft transfer to the Moremi Game Reserve,
Khwai River air strip. We then take a slow "game drive" to our exclusive private camp called “Sable Alley“.
We arrive in camp for lunch and will then have the chance to take a siesta and a shower before meeting
for afternoon tea. Our experienced guides will conduct an afternoon/evening drive that will take us along
the Khwai River. Large game is easy to spot and Elephant and Hippo are in abundance. The Khwai river
offers sensational viewing with high concentrations of wildlife. Sunset, along with sundowners are enjoyed
alongside the river and after dark we return to camp for a three course dinner and bush stories around the
fire.
You will fall asleep to the many interesting sounds that the bush has to offer.
The following day, we spend a full day in the bush on game drive. Departing after a full breakfast, we take
our comfortable 4x4 vehicles and drive through the wilderness area of the Moremi Game Reserve region,
spotting a variety of game that frequent this region. At midday, we stop for a picnic lunch under the shade
of a large tree. Our guides will talk you through the unique ecology of the area and the formation of the
Okavango Delta some 2 million years ago. Late in the afternoon we stop for sundowners and then return
to camp for a hot shower and a delicious dinner.
